fabric art doll

i wanted to host a fabric art doll swap art doll for a long time but just never seemed to get around to making one as my sample, but i finally felt motivated to go digging through my fabric and  so the past few days i've spent piecing together materials for it. this morning i finally finished sewing on her hair.

  1. I am totally amazed, Roc! Your art doll is wicked cool! I'm in awe of anyone who sews - I just look at thread and it tangles - so unforgiving!!! She's Beautiful! Hugs, Terri xoxo

  10. Art dolls, hmmm.....that's something I haven't tried yet, but I like yours so much that I'm very tempted. Definitely have to think about this more! I really like the metal accents on your doll, Roc.

  11. Roc, this is just such a beautifully made doll. I love all the textures you used. And, I see red toile (my favorite!) too. So pretty. What a great way to start your doll swap! This makes me want to get a sewing machine and start stitching!
